Merge branch 'mt/checkout-index-corner-cases'

The error codepath around the "--temp/--prefix" feature of "git
checkout-index" has been improved.

  checkout-index: omit entries with no tempname from --temp output
  write_entry(): fix misuses of `path` in error messages
